As mentioned on the event website, www.ridetosunrise.com, Ride to Sunrise 2013 Organising Committee are people with like-minded thinking about volunteerism coming together to foster relationship with the community. The volunteers from various Community Club/Centres Youth Executives Committees and Community Sports Clubs coming together as a team to organise a wonderful and meaningful Night cycling for all walks of lives. In promoting Safe cycling, they are working with Safe Cycling Taskforce to promote and educate the community.
We have the opportunity to play our part by sponsoring Sqwincher Qwik Stiks to the cyclists participating in the event which they collected together with their goodie bag on the 23rd and 24th November 2013.
Sqwincher Qwik Stiks is small and portable which is what most cyclist are looking for especially when they do not want to carry too many bulky stuff with them. Hydration is an important aspect of every sports, including cycling. During a long distance night cycling, one will lose a lot of sweat and in the process would need to replenish the nutrients lost with electrolytes. Sqwincher Qwik Stiks is sugar free and has a lower sodium level for a healthier choice, plus high in Potassium (electrolytes).
The actual event will take place on 14th December 2013. The start point is at East Coast Park, Carpark C3 and ends at People’s Association Headquarters.
We will be there too. Hope everyone have a joyful ride to the sunrise.
